About Manny

Manny is a 45-year veteran of the tech industry.  Intermittently spending half that time as a global corporate executive in cybersecurity and as a data center specialist in several countries. The other half of his career has been as an American entrepreneur.  The veteran of 5 startups and 4 exits, he has led organizations to multi-million dollar exits in 3 separate decades.

Today, he spends his time serving on both corporate and philanthropic boards.  His special interest is the Nebraska startup community.  As an active member of the Nebraska Startup Academy, he and his team have met with over 400 Nebraska startups in the last 24 months.  And as a managing principal in the newly established MOVE Venture Fund, his team has made investments in 25 companies over the last 18 months.  As he is often heard to say, “this is the USA; democratic, capitalistic with free public education… anyone who is driven can make it here.”

For fun, Manny enjoys cycling, outdoor travel and doing “science stuff” with his grandchildren.
